As mentioned in Ad de Crom thread on Christmas decorations (http://www.google.com/url?sa=t&rct=j&q=&esrc=s&frm=1&source=web&cd=1&ved=0CCkQFjAA&url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.woodworkforums.com%2Ff8%2Fchristmas-decorations-145073%2F&ei=qhHpTs3HE5Tb4QSwjZ3RCA&usg=AFQjCNHZjweGrTPHIuT1vI-CynkHXSc2hg&sig2=4m9VK8U5pwCAbRPnP62imQ) I made a Christmas Log and a pair of ear rings(even though the painting is not to good).
I started a new thread so not to hijack his thread
The Log is 8" long was made in a spare couple of hours in the shed just for the fun of it. The wood used is a mixture of whatever is in the scrape box which in this case was Beech, Olive wood and Ash the log itself I believe is a piece of Crab apple or cherry
Not sure if link is working

Thanks for the comments guys as I said these where just fun objects. Mind you most of my woodworking is just for fun. Most of the time I find that the simple things I make are the ones which people enjoy most:whistling2:
