This is my first fora into Colouring and texturing, one of the many things that I have wanted to have a go at. The problem is the list does not get any shorter do you get the same feeling.
It stand about 4 1/4" tall and is made from cherry

Congratulation on a beautiful Job. the contrast of Colouring and texturing is just Right. what finish did you use?

Thank you to you both on your comments I am now in the stage of trying all new types of lathe work

Hi Tony the finish is Cellulose Sander Sealer followed by Melamine Lacquer sanded between coats. Two coats of sealer followed by three of Lacquer

The more you know and the more you can do effect the list expotentially. :C :U

Digger, looks a bit like a rice bowl.
It's very well made.
Hope it will stay in one piece without cracking, cherry is a bit tricky.
