G'day
Here's a few I've been playing with.
First two are of a mulberry bowl made from timber picked up at the rubbish tip.200mm diam x 70mm high.
Next is an endgrain bottlebrush bowl with bark showing.170mm diam. x 115mm high.
Next is two mini natural edge bowls made a branch of sally wattle that I cut in half. About 100mm. All are finished in DO

I like the Bottlebrush bowl a lot.:2tsup: It almost looks like a fired ceramic piece.
Oh! the others are not too shabby also:U

It is amazing one can do when ones mind runs wild. Very well executed work. Something to be proud of.

All very nice ..........Mulberry tree my dad planted years ago maybe I should go back and ask the owners of the house now if they want it gone.:U
Bottle Brush love it have a secret stash I may have to get rid of very soon largest piece is 400 dia:C Makes beaut pens

My fav is the Bottlebrush bowl, the bark effect is wonderful, you caught that just right.
Mind the book-matched Sally Wattle bowls runs them a very close second.
