Hi All,

Thank you for taking the time to read this.<O:p

We are redoing our bathroom and we have a chestnut door and door frame molding that we would like to strip, plug some holes and then finish the wood. We talk to a local dip n’ string company and they estimated about $600 to strip and finish the door. They said that the door would need to be striped by hand since dipping the door would ruin it. $600 is real steep for us. Is there a procedure / product that we can use to strip paint off of the door and moldings and then finish the wood? We were looking at keeping the natural look of the wood.<O:p

Thanks for any guidance you can provide.<O:p</O:p
