I was wondering where you men get your inserts from & a phone # or link. The problem is 1. they are expensive, 2 some brands last longer than others , 3. who to buy the better ones from.? thanks in advance.

I got some from this guy on ebay, square and radiussed. Radius Carbide Insert Cutter for Woodworking Chisels like Easy Wood Tool Ci1 | eBay (http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Radius-Carbide-Insert-Cutter-Woodworking-Chisels-like-Easy-Wood-Tool-Ci1-/290614145852?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item43a9f3f33c)
They work well and keep a good edge, I think. I haven't needed to replace the first one and it is still pretty sharp.
I emailed the guy and he combined postage to make the purchase cheaper.
He shipped them quickly

No connection, etc. Just a happy customer
