HI:) Matt,
I looked on the Saint Gobain Website Welcome to Saint Gobain in Australia (http://www.saint-gobain.com.au/) , Norton Products (http://www.saint-gobain.com.au/nortonco/asp/Products.asp) and then I went through Peter Holding at B.J. Bearings Bairnsdale to get My Selection of Wheels. I just found out recently that Thomas Warburton Sells 'Kinik' Tool & Cutter GRINDING Wheels and that Rob Wilson Bearings in Bairnsdale Deal witth them, I suppose that B.J's do too.
Blackwoods also sell 'Norton' Tool & Cutter Grinding Wheels Blackwoods | All Your Workplace Needs (http://www.blackwoods.com.au/Products.aspx?NavDS=Nrc:id-4%7cid-99999,N:100000077) . There was another Australian Website that I came across late last Year, but just now I can't find it. They had a huge selection Tool & Cutter Grinding Wheels. I think that their Name was something along the lines of 'Industrial Supplies'.
There is Tool & Cutter grinding Wheels on Ebay, but generally from OS and You might end up Paying a bit for them. Look up on Ebay Flared cup grinding wheels, Saucer grinding wheels, Dished grinding wheels, and Cup grinding wheels. Ebay is definetely a good source for Diamond Grinding Wheels though.
I will have another look for that Website over the Weekend.

P.S. Here is another Supplier http://www.abrasiveindustrial.com.au/page1.htm it's not the one I was looking for though. O.K. I got to go and fix some Boats now.

hi Matt

This may not be relevant in your case but: at the TAFE the apprentices used to spend hours mucking around with balancing grinding wheels . The wheel would be sat in a frame and it would rest in a certain position . It must be an important aspect to precision grinding machines, having the wheel balance to a high degree

Thankyou so much guys, Now I have something to work on over the weekend.
Stewart I was in BJ's on Friday and they only had one 5" straight edge cup wheel..lol
With the new ownership of the company they are not keeping as much stock at hand now...
I will be going over all suggestions and links today.

Hi Matt,

A couple of thoughts...

1. Try these guys Australian Industrial Abrasives (http://www.australianabrasives.com/) I've had good results with them in the past.

I got Norton wheels for finish surface grinding M2 from them.

2. Wheel balancing is critical if you want the best surface finish.

3. I wouldn't have asked this question a few weeks ago, but what about going to CBN?

Regards
Ray

HI:) Matt,
I found the Website I was looking for it is 'Collins Industrial Distributors' Collins Industrial Distributors: (http://www.collinsid.com.au/ProductList.php?Operation=SetSessionVariable&Variable)[cat1]=Abrasives&Variable[cat2]=Grinding&Variable[cat3]=-1 I saved it in My Favourites so I don't lose it again. Here is another Link look at Bonded and Diamond in the Abrasive section Abrasives - Statewide Fasteners and Engineering Supplies (http://www.statewidefastener.com.au/abrasives.html) .

The following a Link to the Norton Handbook of Toolroom Grinding, there is a lot of other Downloads there too Shaper Book Page (http://www.neme-s.org/Shaper%20Books/shaper_book_page.htm) .
