Went to a club turning day at 's on Friday! "Why do you need to go there on your day off? " I hear you say! Well I was in 2 minds myself, but hell. I always learn somerthing at these things. Didn't think anything much happened oin the day, but had a quick go doing beads with the skew today and "ta daa" before the news was over I had a small stick of beads. Only one little catch where I thought "Oh I see! Not like that! " So there you go! Only took me 3 years! :rolleyes::D

Skew is another offensive four letter word, in the same vain as work.

Well done TL!:2tsup:

Well done TL!!:2tsup::2tsup::2tsup:

I learnt to use a skew after watching Mike Darlow's Video - several times. I consciously talked myself through the process as I was doing it. Great satisfaction when things went right!!

Cool TL :2tsup: Now you can drill them and part them off to make a caterpillar like this one... here. (http://www.ttit.id.au/projects/gecko/gecko.htm)

2 of them a day for another 3 years and that 'little catch' might become a thing of the past - but knowing the skew, I doubt it!

Only took me 3 years!

:2tsup:...which puts you 50 years ahead of me. I'm an extra slow learner when it comes to the skew...:-

Skew? What is a Skew? Is that the funny shapped thing that allways digs in to everything you put it near?

Very satisfying ain't it TL.

Leaves a good finish on the wood.

Keep practising 'til it becomes muscle memory.
