Hi

I have been trying to put new door handles on the laundry door since Saturday,(a bit tricky with one hand) the internal bit is had it and I have nice new handles and a new inside bit. (Very technical:B) The new inside bit is just a bit too wide to fit in the hole properly and as I had bought 3 passage sets and two of them are for toilet and shower I decided to give up and buy some knobs with locks. Great except I have no idea what I am doing and now discover that you need to cut a bigger hole 50mm to put a knob on. I have put those handles on at least 4 times as my husband wanted to see why it didn't work etc :C and have locked myself in the laundry a few times OMGosh anyway, am I going to be able to cut a bigger hole alright? I'm thinking that it will be a two handed job and a handful at that as their is already a hole?? Also the toilet and shower locks were those mortice lock kind of ones and now I have pulled them out I have a huge hole, any suggestions on that one? My hubby thinks we can glue a bit of wood in the hole and fix it that way with appropriate filler to make it neat? Any suggestions???

thanks
