Hello folks

here's a simple burr oak hollow form i've made today
3 3/8" wide by 3 3/4" tall

Until I read the description again I though it was far bigger than it really is, even the posted pictures are bigger than the form.

It's a fantastic (little) bit of timber, lots happening in the grain, and cut across the timber change between growth wood and burr.

Is the finish oil?

The finish is just lemon oil at the time these pics were taken but i'll probably build it up to a satin sheen with woodoc10 eventually
