Olive ash ovoid forms

Hello folks

I've been enjoying making more ovoid forms since the last spalted beech one I posted- Its strange that for such a simple form I'm finding it a real challenge to get right!! I've made about a dozen now- here are a couple which I think are o.k

5 1/2" wide by 5 5/8" tall

And it's the fact that they are so simple that means any slight discrepancy in the turning of the curves is magnified by the eye and makes it look like it's under a microscope.

Once again simple forms wonderfully executed but more than that, two more pieces of stunning timber used.:2tsup:

I rekon they are very nice. Like the way you have shaped to use the difference in the timber. Great work. Well done.
