How do I re size photos so as I can attach them??

To resize I use Irfaniew a free download small program.

I use windows powertoy image resizer for XP and it works good. For this forum select large.
Once installed, it's as easy as going into you photos and right clicking and selecting resize images. Once the window comes up select large. You can also highlight a lot of photos and do them all at once.
I have been using this program for a few years now with no problems, and I am not right up on computers.
