Triton MK3 Original setup and operation VHS tape from 1984. (Video 2 of 4) (3 hours total) - YouTube
Here is a piece of gold from 1984.
If you have a Triton MK3 and cant play the video then this is a digitized version of the VHS tape that came with the saw table.
The first bit talks about setting up the table. I bought my Triton second hand, from a guy who had it for 15 years. After watching the video I can see that the previous owner never had it set up correctly.
After fine tuning the setup according to the video, I am cutting timber to an accuracy of less than 1/10 of a mm. ( I use a vernier to measure.)
The video is gold for many reasons, and one day may even stand along with the Hills Hoist in terms of ingenuity. The presenter (George Lewin) reminds me of a p0rn star from the 70's with his long moustache.
Anyhow, flick though the lengthy videos for some tips that you may have missed out on, and get the most out of your old / or second hand machine.
I will upload the next lot shortly. (4 videos in total).
Please share your thoughts.
Regards Benny
