Here's my coolant system:
First pic is of the switch, step down take off tube, tap and unswitched powerpoint with the fountain pump transformer in the top right corner. The unswitched PP is wired to a 3 pin plug with a switch interupting the active wire. The transformer has to be switched via the AC input, if you switch the DC output with the transformer still powered up, the transformer will cease working.

This is just a small retic tap from Bunnings connected to the step down take of tube, the take off tube should interupt the tube between the pump and tap.

This is my linkage, made from 12x3mm strapping, it bends and twists in all directions and stays put once situated, unlike the plastic ones from H&R.

Cheap $5 tub from Cheap as Chips with holes cut in top for feed, return and power cord plus swarf tray drain tube.

This is the pump (Bunnings), araldite the small push in/fall out tube on top, constantly pushing it back in all the time will crack the housing.

Swarf tray drain tube. 12mm bolt with thread removed for hose attachment. The bolt head is angled underneath and turned down to about 3mm, the bush underneath is turned to suit. Attach using a fibre washer to stop leaks.

Garden hose is best, clear plastic tube hardens with time and starts to leak. Similarly, 6mm retic hose from Bunnings is best from the take of tube. The pump states 850LH at 1.5metres; however, that's rubbish, at 1.5 metres all you get is a dribble. Best to place the coolant tub and pump immediately under the swarf tray, pressure in the delivery tube is then sufficient to supply coolant to the take off tube without having to restrict the return flown via the large tap, supply can then be metered by the small retic tap.
If you want a higher pressure in the take of tube for washing down the lathe, etc, just restrict the return flow via the large tap.
Pump was about $35, tub was $5, unswitched PP 4$, switch $4, I already had the taps so don't know their price, same for the hose.
Hope you guys can understand this set up. If you want a simpler gravity fed system, I'll post that as well.
