Hi,

What should I used to clean brushes used for applying sanding sealer ?

I assumed turps, but the sealer cured almost instantly ruining the brush.

I am using the no-name sealer that Carbatec stocks.

Thanks,
Adam

The can usually tells you what to use.

Lacquer thinners usually dissolves most paints and can be used to reclaim dirty brushes.

most sanding sealers/pre-cat sealers are thinners based

therefore use thinners to clean ur brushes out

Adam,
The can should say what solvent you can use to thin the paint/sealer, leave the brush soak in that solvent for a liottle while to soften the paint then use a wire brush to comb the rubbish out.
an ex painter in a hardware store told me this some years back and I tried it on some old brushes, it works.
