Hi All

The i-Box is close.... What's an i-Box???

It's a brand new Box Joint Maker from Incra that works equally as well on a Table Saw or a Router Table, and because of its twin leadscrew mechanism, it doesn't mind; Metric, Imperial or any other size cutters you would like to use.

Hi all

Having seen and used the i-Box we are very enthusiastic about it. It is a very innovative piece of equipment that makes box joints and wooden hinges a breese.

With our initial allocation expected late May early June we have listed it on the web-site HERE (http://woodworksupplies.com.au/prod890.htm)

As you will see, Incra have now made it possible to make the humble box joint 'sexy'..............

Regards

Grahame, does this effectively replace the box joint template system on the LS Positioner Super System?

In other words, would getting both systems be superfluous?

Thanks.

Hi Hilton

The LS System is a total Router System, that can do heaps.... Dovetails, Box Joints, Edge Jointing, Rebating, Profiling etc.

The ibox is purely a box joint maker with exceptional accuracy and ease of use. Oh! by the way it can do Dentil mouldings if these are your thing? http://www.do-it-yourself-help.com/images/dentil.jpg

A full description is included in our eUpdate newsletter (http://visitor.constantcontact.com/manage/optin/ea?v=001dRCypZS7HoVoubbbM_163g%3D%3D)going out today.

Thanks Grahame. It looks like I would be able to cut a box joint of say an inch wide by using just a normal 3.2mm (1/8) table saw blade?

Am I understanding this correctly?

Sorry one more thing Grahame. If I already own a Router LS Positioner system, would the iBox increase versatility or just be a duplication?

BTW, is it iBox or Ibox or IBox or IBOX?

I know which one looks better :U

Hilton

Sorrry for the delayed reply. the LS will achieve the same end reult but thei-Box gets there easier, it isn't Metric or Imperial specific. However the i-Box won't do all the other things the LS system does.

I like i-Box myself.
