Yesterday we had had to make the worst decision of all.
Our nearly 13 year old boxer "Dot Com" had been deterioating badly for about 2 weeks and not eaten for the last week, she was just skin and bone. She had been almost deaf and blind since the cyclone.
She slept a lot but still came in every morning to wake us up and was asking for cuddles all the time.
When we saw the vet on Saturday we were told there nothing could be done for her, it was just her time and she was only hanging in there.
So yesterday we had her put to sleep but, oh how hard it has been.
She was such a big part of our lives.
She adored her stuffed tiger.
RIP Dot Com you were much loved and will be much missed.
