<TT>Hi All, my name is Edilson Tiradentes and I'm from Brazil. I´m thinking to make a sliding table saw. Does anyone built or have a plan with pic showing the mechanism to move the blade up and down in a vertical plane? Thanks.</TT>

Hello All,

I was silly enough to make my own table saw last year.

I use it most weekends and it is still working like a ripper!

One of these days I will get the time (and money) and make myself a biesemeyer clone (as discovered on this very forum).

Look at the pictures below and you'll see how i did my saw.

Basically it is two square frames - one attached to a very big frame on the side of the frame and another frame that pivots off it at 90 degrees.

Sounds complicated, but it's not....check it out.

The gheight adjuster is three threaded rods that use homemade bits to adjust the height.
