Some great pics there Mike, interesting to see the number of people employed there.

Obviously before the invention of OH&S, particularly in the foundry area:oo:

Thanks for posting that Mike. A reminder that I should visit Tony's site more frequently. They were tough in the good old days, shirtless in the foundry. :no: Imagine the queue outside the first aid post.

I looked at that when you got the hendey but it had been recently upgraded with some new pics.
I don't know how long the line would have been BT, common sense was a lot more common back then. These days I think it should be called uncommon sense!

That's great Mike atleast you know the spindle on your Hendy was hand machined by a real machinist. :2tsup:

It's good stuff. I wonder how many of those machines (used for production in the factory) were tweeked to be more accurate, or selected from the production batches because they were good ones?
