Sorry Guys
It is a lathe
There has been a mention of it in this forum and I was hoping that there would be someone that has one or knows its value as I have been offered one but the owner doesn't know much as it was her late husbands

Warrick, use the search function here and see if that brings up anything on this lathe.
Failing that, look up the specs on the MC900 (you'll find plenty here on the MC900) and see how the specs compare to this beast you're thinking of buying.
The MC900 is the current choice for newbie turners and retails around $400.
Cheers

What Christopha is saying is that it is not worth that much.
If I remember rightly they were a pressed steel bed that was too thin and flexible for any decent turning.
They were retailed by the major hardware chains before Bunnings came on the scene.
I would probably steer well clear of it.
