Table Saw

I would like to purchase a table saw and would appreciate some feed back on what saws are value for money. The work I do requires precision cuts.

I would rather a top quality secondhand saw than a average quality new saw however of course I would prefer a top quality new if affordable.

where do you live? I have saw as required posted in "buy,swap & sell" - only reason for sale is I need marketing budget & wish to contract out future construction & finishing- leaving my time for inlay & marketing. I have run $40,000 panel saws in commercial shops & have set up a system which cuts very clean & accurate. I am among the best in the world at what I do & demand the highest accuracy. I doubt you'll find a new saw under $5-8,000 with accurate fences.
Metabo best in this range.
My saw for sale- $1,000- I make my own sliding cr/cut & rip fences. My saw is near new in v.good cond.

Y'pay for what ya get..... Check out your local "Trading post", thats a great place to start. I have seen half decent Wolfenden's or a Wadkin within your price range. Although you would want to be quick as they are snapped up early. Check out all of your second hand machinery places. This will give you an idea of whats what on the market.
