I finished my first ever turned hollow form bowl today. American Walnut with rare-earth magnets inset. It is just under 7.5 cm high 16.5 cm across with an opening of 7.6 cm.

Just on the point of finish, I can see some marks around the equator region. Just wondering if the wood is difficult to sand?

artme... the marks only show up in the photos, not really seen by the eye. :D
