The big house at the top of the Hill has had a branch break of with the weight from the recent heavy snow in Kent, England. The Wood is Cedar of Lebanon and the branch is about 2 1/2 feet wide. Can anyone tell me if they have worked any of it and how it finishes for bowls and the like?

I look forward to your wise responses.

Many thanks

Richard

The cedar of antiquity - supposedly what Noah built the ark with.

I have some, works really well and is easy to use, very pleasing cedar colour when aged and has an absolutely wonderful fruity smell.

Cheers - Neil :)

How long would you recommend drying before using and does she split easily when turned wet?
