Note the Nova DVR set up headstock inverted to out board the bed setup and then latter the use of the original bed.

i would agree, im not a fan of the basic cylinder.... but i'ts still not something i would attempt:no:, rather impressive skill and lathe

Hey Ray, certainly gives me some ideas even if like the boys above I don't like his shapes much. Still a very skilled woodworker.

Structural, Architectural even functional, inspiring by their size, but hardly attractive.

It looks like he's cracked the turning Lego problem!

I've seen the chainsaw method a few times before, but some of his compartments etc look like a bit of fun.
