Hi all,
As the title says I removed a small window (from one room) that was doubled up with another window (which I left in as that was in a different room)..... at the moment it is boarded up from the outside with one single sheet of thick ply... the inside is finished done properly with noggins etc re-plastered, painted and never know a window was once there.

(The ply is rough and temporary)
So as you can see one window removed and boarded up... when the window was in there was a sheet of metal between the two (this is where the wall on the inside divided the two windows)
Now my original plan was to find the same bricks and brick it up... however the house is 15 years old and I cant find the same bricks, so I have to do something different from the outside. I know I can easily put some cabin style slat boards but I'm wondering if anyone has some ideas of what I can do to make it look like there never was a window there from the outside? pretty hard I know!!!!
For everyone's info the window is under the back pergola so here are some ideas I had.
1. frame it up and make it a kind of garden cupboard with doors
2. a friend suggested to make a dart board as its under the pergola :no:
3. put some nice ply and paint with texture paint and maybe hang an ornament :unsure:
To be honest I'm very unsure what to do now which is why I am here... hope I get some good ideas.
Further info I don't want to spend heaps.... max would be say 3 to 400... and I want an easy quick solution as I plan to sell up in about 2 months.
If I was staying I would have bricked it up with any old bricks and rendered the wall but time and money is against me for that one.
