View Full Version : Timber in Brisbane?

Can anyone recommend a good place to pick up some furniture timber in Brisbane. Preferably on the south side.

I'm new to all this and want to start on some simple projects and work my way up to the fancy stuff. Was hoping there was someone who'll sell me timber without taking advantage of my (considerable) ignorance...

Cheers Craig

if u take a trip to Toowomba check out the timber recyclers in water street ( they have stacks of good cedar in at the moment and alot of nice slabs... or Treesize timbers, i just picked up some nice blackwood, myrtle, red cedar and rosewood

u might have ot go a little further afield if u want the good stuff
