benupton 27th August 2012, 08:49 PM Hi,
Considering doing some experimenting in Anodizing Aluminium, a question is do you have to use a Anodizing dye or can you use a commercial clothing dye?
Thanks Ben
Master Splinter 27th August 2012, 09:22 PM You can use fabric dyes such as RIT but the colours may or may not be quite what you expect...you can have a bit of a colour shift in some cases so it's worthwhile testing if you have your heart set on a particular tint.
Black needs to be mixed up at double strength for best results.
