Hello folks

here are three new boxes that i cast a few weeks ago and finished recently

Burr elm (with a very dark blue resin)

That loofah effect is fabulous. It looks like you've captured cobwebs or the mycelium of a fungal growth in the resin.

Great boxes.Using Loofar is really thinking outside the square and they're cheap too. You could grow your own.

I have a couple burl pieces that need some voids filled. Not having done this before, what would you reccomend to fill with.

Just too, too special... although I have no idea what you/others mean by loofah. Isn't that a big sponge from the bathroom? I obviously don't come here often enough.

Yep, that the stuff, bathroom back scrubber. The stringy bit inside some gourds, Loofah!

The loofah is probably my favorite too.
It might be interesting to add color to the loofah fibers for effect.
I wonder if sea sponge would work...
