Brendan Stemp (http://www.brendanstemp.com.au/go/)

As you'll see, Brendan does some really spekky sculptural work with Aussie timbers.

There's also some how-to vids on the site; at the moment filed under Shop.

...

No connection other than having bought the world's best lathe from him ;-)

Thanks for the link Ern, I had a look at Brendan's site and it's much improved and subscribed to his newsletter.

Much better design and easier to use, thanks Ern.

By the way, you back in Melbourne?

Pleasure folks.

Not yet Scott. End of the month was the plan. It's a stonkingly good season up here; haven't seen snow cover like it for years.

(PS: did you know Emerson supplied Walden Pond cabin for Thoreau?)

It's a pleasure looking at woodturner's websites that do justice to their work, as does Brendan's.

I enjoyed the visit.

Agreed!

Bron & I have a rather fine example of his work (Flow II) coming from Brendan's last exhibition, which we are looking forward to enjoying every day...:):)

Here is a preview before your next visit, Ern.

Especially like the gumnut/resin grinders and bowls - fabulous!
