I had a look on Google and found that Jarvis Walker made a rod
called the "Sealake".

They are located at 297-305 South Gippsland Hwy in Dandenong South
with the phone number 8787-6900.

Perhaps you could gain more information from them.

Gave them a call,no luck. Apparently they lost a lot of records to a fire.

One of our Northern Woodturners Club members is secretary
of a fishing club. He is quite an expert on making split cane
rods and recently gave a talk at the club on the subject.

I have referred it to him, just in case one of the members
of his club has any clues on it.

Will let you know what transpires.
