Well, starting with the wood already glued up into a block, about 3 hours.

Well, I never read any books on this. I just wanted the look of a scroll sawed box, on a larger scale. To get this I had to solve the entry cut problem of a bandsaw. As far as design, I have a ton of ideas that I still want to try. Just need to get my **** down there and do it.
