:)Hi Neil,
What an amazing job. They just keep getting better AND you do it all in a garden shed. I'm in awe. Well done and will catch up soon.
Cheers,
Paul

Hughie, stunning as always. And amazing how much detail you can fit onto a 4" form.

Wonderful... :2tsup:

I'M JEALOUS!!!!!!
What a great piece!! I am a reasonable "copier" I just wish I had a more artistic flare for design.

Hughie - can we be privvy to the method you used to cut the flutes? If you call it a trade secret, I'll understand.

Not much to add as everyone has said it, other than beautiful. The collar is dead finish, but is the rest made from?
Cheers

Funny that as its the same pics :?

Willy sorry thought I had mentioned it  Eucalyptus burl, fairly soft not unlike Camphor Laurel.

Rod [ Chambezio ]they are not as hard as you would think, especially if you choose a soft timber . Have a good look at the article. If you have any questions just PM me. :2tsup:
