G'day Ern,

I haven't seen inside the book but from the advert I saw for it, I reckon it's mostly pommie stuff.

Howdy Cliff,

Sounds likely. The SkillsPublish blurb reckons it covers woods from across the globe, but then it would wouldn't it? And Baker's pieces in the mag don't exactly ignite much enthusiasm do they?

But as they say, don't judge a book etc etc. Look at my dial and you wouldn't think I regularly exceed the legal speed limit on two wheels would you? And I don't (except when it's safe to do so!).

I'll wait and check it out at the Working with Wood Show.

If it's going to be there, I'll see it first in Brissy next month, I'll look for it & report back.

Depends on how may turns you put in the rubber band when you wind it up.

Since we're into Harley bashing, did you know that 80% of all those ever made are still on the road. The remainder made it home :D :D :D :D

Yep Cliff, if you lean over far enough in the old wheel chair you can crack 60+ around the bends!

Pikkie of mine attached. Took the trainer wheels off for the photo ;)

Last club ride a young guy comes up to me and says 'fer a bloke your age you sure ride fast'. With rapier wit I reply 'if I don't go fast I fall asleep at the wheel'.

Yamaha 850 twin. In younger days I rode a BSA 500 single; handled like a dream, reliability a nightmare.

Bikies are orthopods' best customers unfortunately, after professional sportspeople.

Hehehe ... none of that newfangled stuff - as echidna said, rubber band :D
