I have orders... LOML :U to produce a few bowls etc for Christmas. This one is the first, 16x4 in Mallee and satin WOP finish.

Well Hughie, that is certainly dramatic.

I almost prefer the underside, that effect of the outer layer (Bark?)

All white and jagged (like a snow scene), probably would not do fruit much good but visually it's great.

Not so much, you stop often to check the thickness. I probably could have taken some more off. But the bowl will be used as a fruit bowl so its needs a 'practical thickness' .

dr4g0nfly. I like the bottom as well, had I turned it up the other way I would have lost most of it. The shape didn't give me a lot of options.
