Hi,

I have several tools that I inherited from my father. I was thinking of selling them at a garage sale, but I am not sure that I would get a fair price for them.

Does anyone know what I should ask for the following tools? They are all in excellent condition. My father was quite an avid woodworker but became very ill about eight years ago and hasn't used them since.

The tools are:

Makita Router Model 3608B
Makita Router Model 3600B
Makita Trimmer Model 3700B
Makita Power Planer Model 1100

McCulloch PM360 Petrol Chain Saw.
Hitachi 230mm disc grinder Model PDU 230.

I also have about half a dozen Stanley hand planes, which are in good condition except for a bit of surface rust.

I have manuals for some of the tools.

Thanks

Phillip

Mate.. Go along to the tool sale and swap meet on the 18 of this month at: Glenferrie Primary school
80 Manningtree road Hawthorn (Melways 45 D11)
You will get a really good idea at the exact amount they are worth. I am referring to the hand tools and not the power tools.
Starts at 9.00 am
