Here are pics of the 1120 x 1700 mm jarrah sewing/dining table that I made over Easter. Flattening, thicknessing and jointing the boards for the top seemed to take forever, but got finished eventually. I had a fright when the glue-up of the top was completed. I left the top on my workbench overnight, and was disconcerted to find in the morning that it had cupped very noticeably, despite the care I had taken to alternate the boards. At first I had visions of having to rip the top into pieces and rejoint, but I eventually screwed two sturdy cleats to the underside (using slotted holes for the screws) to straighten it out. The finish is gloss polyurethane.

Major,
I wish :) I had stock for the legs already, but I splurged about $600 on 14 m of 300 x 25 jarrah for the aprons and top. I still have some of that left over. Maybe I will get around to making a jarrah rocker one day.
