Hi guys,
<!--[if !supportEmptyParas]--><!--[endif]--> I am investigating options for the fit out of my workshop. Dust collection including the use of fixed piping is one of the things I am considering. Some of the posts by Biting Midge and Sturdee are inspiring in this regard.
<!--[if !supportEmptyParas]--><!--[endif]--> One of the things I like is the possible use of a cyclonic dust collection system. I have browsed the Bill Pentz site and also the stuff by Wayne Davey. The only problem with this is that you have to build your own cyclone (at the moment I am building lots of things and cant get inspired by doing yet another thing).
<!--[if !supportEmptyParas]--><!--[endif]--> In looking for machines I noticed this cyclonic dust collector (Trupro CT-235DC) on the Major Woodworking Equipment site http://www.majorwoodworking.com.au/catalog/product_info.php?cPath=72_42&products_id=167 At $1320 its not cheap but then a dust collector with a pleated filter can get expensive too. I notice that our friends across the Pacific Ocean at Grizzly also have (the same?) cyclonic dust collector http://www.grizzly.com/products/item.cfm?itemnumber=G0525&
<!--[if !supportEmptyParas]--><!--[endif]--> Does anyone have any experience with these cyclonic dust collectors or have any comments to offer.
<!--[if !supportEmptyParas]--><!--[endif]--> As the 2005 Carba-tec and Timbecon catalogues have not been released yet it is also possible that cyclonic dust collectors might be in there.
<!--[if !supportEmptyParas]--><!--[endif]--> Cheers
