On the 23rd of February we have our annual Clubs gathering here. The subject covered will be sharpening.

Soooooooooo, I thought that while everything was out and set up (plus I have had some requests), why not have a Turn on the next day the 24th of February.

Usual things apply, BYO lunch (BBQ available) and chairs. Bring your sharpening problems and some mangled tools along.

Rats,

I have a doctors appointment Feb 22.

And there is the small matter of being 16,017 miles away.

Google Maps says:

Driving directions to Tooradin VIC, Australia
3D

This route has tolls.
This route includes a ferry.
This route crosses through Japan.

https://maps.google.com/maps?saddr=asheville,+nc&daddr=Tooradin+VIC,+Australia&hl=en&sll=-38.214054,145.380463&sspn=0.137572,0.220757&geocode=FTE6HwIdYVMU-ykJbw88qYxZiDFdOjQGwTHvlA%3BFVrmuP0db1SqCClZG0vsbwXWajFw6owhdVYEBQ&t=h&mra=ls&z=2

Seems like the long way around.

Postpone the doctors appointment and take a plane to Melbourne. I'm sure someone will pick you up from the airport and take you to Tooradin.

Problem solved. :U

I can't make it. The job in Melbourne that was supposed to start today has been deferred for 3 weeks due to the incompetence of the dudes doing the building modification. Bugger.

A great day and again I learned heaps. Forgot to ask about one other type of skew, the ROUND ONE (sorry for shouting).

Tried to attach a shocked photo but timed out.
