The previous year has flown and Artisans Expo is almost upon us once again.
Come and mingle with some of Australia's best artisans, pump them for their secrets, stock up on Expo specials, catch up with old mates!
Dates for Artisans Expo are Friday 22nd, Saturday 23rd February 2013 (10am to 4pm) and Sunday 24th Feb (10am to 2pm).
The Expo is at Artisans On The Hill at Mondrook (just outside Taree and Wingham).
Driveway and carpark are now sealed (hooray!!) so much better coach and wheelchair access.
We have also built a large awning behind the workshop (where the marquee was last year) to increase and improve the space.
Trend Timbers will be there with their goodies, and Michael Mogy (Hardware for creative finishes) will fill the marquee with his stuff.
You can download a brochure here:

Also, check out the youtube video Christine created with images from last years Expo and other stuff at Artisans On The Hill

Just found out that Neil is bringing "The Axe" along to display at Expo. For those who do not know, "The Axe" is Neil's 2.6m long chopper (motor bike) he had built from timber.
Checking out this great piece and chatting to the guy crazy enough to build it is worth the price of admission on its own!
Have taken the liberty to include a couple of pics here

Pete happy to bring the axe up for your expo. Should be fun catching up with you and Christine and the Manning woodworkers.
See you there.

Peter, the weather is utterly foul here at Tele Point -
Pouring rain and strong winds.
We won't be going anywhere today - so sadly won't be down to see you.
I hope the weather is kinder to you down at Mondrook.
It is worse to the north of us.
Good luck with the weekend.

Sorry you couldn't make it but I do understand.
The 100 or so brave souls who did visit today had a great day "up close and personal" with the artisans in attendance.
Hope it lets up a bit tomorow. We will bat on regardless!
At least the workshop and new awning is reasonably dry!
Cheers
Peter
