A colleague on another forum, from South Africa, has PM'd me to ask: "please let me know if triton are still in operation the talk here in sa is that they have closed down".
The colleague is looking to buy a new Triton TRB001 and is understandably uncertain with these rumors going around. :?
Has anyone in Australia heard anything?

Triton are still going but they are no longer an Australian firm; when GMC collapsed the Triton brand was purchased by (I think) a Swiss company trading in the UK. Carba-tec and Kinchrome are the Australian distributers. Click HERE (http://www.tritontools.com/) for their website.

Yes, I was aware of that, as I was involved in the Receivership of GMC in 2007/2010.
I was checking for a more recent change.
I did inform my colleague that these rumors re- surface from time to time.
