Hello,

Saw this a few weeks ago on somebodies web site but am unable to find it again.

It was a very solid "arm" made out of various bits of plywood one end attached to a vertical rail on the wall and could slide vertically on the rail. The free end was hanging over the work bench - there were either on or two elbows giving the abilty to move and lock the free end into any position you might want above the bench. I think the elbows were lockable.

Anybody have any idea where I might have seen this thing ?

Have trawled all over woodgears but havent found it there yet

Have tried googling but cannot get the key words right

Regards

Bill

2/3 of way down the page =- the jig that is holding the router

Pat Hawley's thickness sander (http://woodgears.ca/sander/thickness.html)

I like that idea

Not quite what I remembered but close enough.
