After 20 years here at North Rocks, we have decided to move on. Not all that far, just to the central coast, just near Gosford. We have bought a house, 3 beds, 2 baths, kitchen , living rooms,, etc, etc, boring stuff, pool, more boring stuff, garden sheds, more boring stuff , drivel , drivel etc etc AND A 6 X 8 METER SHED. I think I'll get through all this OK.

There are a lot of men's sheds in the area. Gosford, Kincumber, BataeuBay, Erina and a bunch of others, I'd like to join all of them, but I'll probably go to the Gosford shed as it is a few minutes away, than again, I really want to drag my BIL to a shed and Bateau Bay may just be the unlucky spot.

After the great success of the Hunter and Blue Mountains GTGs, wots the chance of a Central Coast GTG?

Sensible. No point in muddying the waters by looking at unimportant matters like houses.:U

Avery thats a real nice place your selling plenty space for workshop plus storage and that rumpus room would soon become another workshop. Only hassle is to many darn stairs for me :p

Now don't be mean and show us the new shed

Some people seem to think that things like kitchens, bathrooms, living space, even gardens are important, I have no idea why.

It has been a great house for the past 20 years Wheelin. It has its problems, like being on a fairly busy road, and it sits on a dirty great big lump of sandstone - that means there is only a few inches of soil. I am told this has some sort of effect on gardening - whatever that is. And yes, it is stairs inside and out - youcan get from the carport to the front door, but then you have to decide if you want to go up or down. To get from the rumpus room to the backayard is 5 steps up, from the driveway to the front yard is about 10 steps down.

The next place is older, a bit smaller and all on one level (almost). I don't have any photos yet. We take possesion in mid March. I plan to start moving what machinery i have into the 6 x 8 garage (workshop) as soon as I can. photos will follow.

I am seriously thinking of hosting the inaugural Central Coast GTG, BBQ,chin wag and telling of ourageous lies perhaps in late April/May

Avery you beat me to the suggestion of GtG although old Col's (toy's section) shed should be well on the way for a GtG also he's up there.

I know Col, I bought a disc/belt sander from him a while back. Good bloke. He showed me around his shed, it was almost bigenuff for the two of us to stand init and exchange greetings, but he had all he needed init to do extraordinary work. I really want an invite to see his new shed.

Are you listening Colbra?

Yeah! Central Coast GTG

I do want to get involved in all the Men's Sheds around the Central Coast, There are a good number of them and they really seem to have it all together.
