A later version of this type of saw used to be sold, possibly at Carbatec , I had a look there but did not find them on their web site , any one know who sells them now ?

From memory, Kirschen/Two Cherries make several versions of this saw. Whatever the brand, last year I looked at a couple on-line from a Vic based seller whose name eludes me right now. Start searching on that basis and it may pop up. If I find the name I'll post here of course.

It does seem pretty cheap to me. Still worth a try. They used to list several variations and probably still do. When I was looking in the middle of last year, they showed one even cheaper still. You might need to really search the site. Or phone them.
