Hi Tassie members. I have just arrived in devonport and will be staying for 4 weeks travelling around Tassie and would like to visit other woodworkers who might like some company. G'day, I (Matt Burgess) live in Geeveston and work at the local hardware store. If you make it this far south, there are a few good reasons to call into town.
One of them being IST (Island Specialty Timbers) particularly if you were looking to take home some Huon Pine or Black Hearted Sasafrass, Black Wood or Tassie Myrtle, the list goes on. We also have some fantastic galleries showcasing some beautiful woodwork.
Call into the shop if your in town and I'll give you directions to the best spots.
