Pretty slick set of jigs and fixtures. How many are you going to make for the first edition? What is the nice lathe you are using?

We are doing 171 all together.

The lathe that they were drilled on is "Walter", a Wadkin Bursgreen. The turning is done on a Teknatool 3000 fitted with a variable speed.

.

I'm having trouble seeing 171 as a understandable number - so I give up, how or why did you get to 171 please?

These are handles for the group buy/manufacture. Not everyone wanted handles supplied. Some prefer to make their own. 171 chisels were ordered c/w handles.

I think this is the Wadkin you were given and refurbished? Or do you have Wadkins lying about like paper cups outside a fast food joint?

,

So as not to hijack this thread more than I have, you may wish to move this.

I have not seen a real live Wadkin, but they look to be very good stout lathes.

Have you seen these?
