Made another set of tiny table legs. filled me in on how I could make the rails connect to them. Turn tennons onto the end of them. Too easy. :cool: Just measure accurately. Glued together now.

Also made other bits and pieces for the rest of the sculpture. So more pics to come.

I'm interested to know how you made the tenons on the rails. Looks great though, impressed with how you've repeated the pattern on the legs :2tsup:

Looks great though, impressed with how you've repeated the pattern on the legs :2tsup:Well, :hmm: you do it like a really flat pommel. cutting a v cut in with the skew, with the bevel perpendicular to the shoulder. When you get nearly to the size of the tennon, I sized it with a little spanner and parting tool. Do you need more pics?

No, that pretty much explains it. I was thinking you'd cut the tenons like you normally would with a saw then mount between centres and then round them off. I bet it sounded something like a helicopter when you were turning it?
