Hey Woodies,

I'm heading up to the Boutique Timbers aution on the 30th of this month. I'm planning on spending up though I'm sure I will have some room left in my van.

My van can carry up to 2.5t & will take 2.7m lenghts easily but I'm sure I can squeeeze in a few 3.0m lenghts.

I can take them to my storage shed at Seven Hills for collection & we can work out a fair price to cover fuel or beer!

Let me know

Looks like a very good auction. Wish I could get up there next weekend. Reckon I could have filled the trailer no worries :)

Will Boutique still be at the Sydney wood show?

Nathan.

While sitting having breakfast looked at the clock 8.45am said to Sue "Wonder how the auction is going" no sooner said when SMS from Fletty man on the spot at auction comes through Malley Burls $4 kg :o

After rolling round the floor in a hurry trying to replace dead 22" monitor with 17" (now looking squinty eyed at forum )

Thanks for photos Dave thats some timber there. Good to see the Ward's celebrating Easter with the Cross, Will you and Fletty be carrying that and crucifying the auctioneer if prices get to high??? :p

Yes fletty did buy some nice stuff. I got back yesterday and have started on my mackay cedar slab table....... No allergic reactions as off yet!

A great weekend was had by all & there was some timber sold cheap, as usual the auction bidding gets people all competitive, a few of us couldn't believe the price camphor went for:o!

If its on next year I'm there! Just a word of warning though, don't offer to give "Those Ward Brothers" a hand for a couple of days, for a couple of old fellas they can certainly make a city slicker like me very very tired & sore indeed!

Good people, good food,a few beers & some nice timber, what more could any man need?(beside a long bath & a few dozen Nurofen for the back)
cheers
