triton router armature?

Hi everyone,
I think the armature in my MOF001 router has gone, although it hasn't done much work, suddenly there's alot of sparks & the router speed is inconsistent. I was wondering if anyone can advise if it is worth sending away for repair & if so where too. I emailed the website a couple of weeks back but haven't received a reply, any help would be greatly appreciated.

Try Combined Electrical in Fyshwick, they were the accredited repairers for our area in the original catalogue.
