Chess table.

Hi All,
This is the chess board and table i made at the end of last year.
Legs - pine
Box - Aussie Oak
Chess board - Jarrah, Oak, red gum, and underside is Zebra wood.
finished using the Wattyl 2 pack Super gloss.

Cool splines in the mitred corners! did you use a tablesaw (and jig) to cut the kerfs in the box? Well done! :)

Very nice work. I also like the splines.The mitres were cut on a table saw, the inlays fingers were cut in using a dovetail saw, the top was made totally by hand (straight edge and scalpel), and the profile cut with a trimmer.
