Can you spray your turned lathe work with single pack lacquer over eee cream successfully ?

hi john,
as far as i know EEE is an abrasive ,like sandpaper which ''sands''
to a very fine surface,down to something like 3000 grit,
and yes i think you can put lacquer over it if you want to.
i always finish with EEE and glow,if i don't use glow i use lacquer
and have never had any problems,hope this helps and if i am wrong
i am sure their are forum members that are much better informed
than me:U just my 2 bobs worth

Lacquer over EEE is a bit of an overkill. I would go to 400# and apply sanding sealer, then sand to as fine as you want then lacquer. Or sand to 1200# then apply EEE, buff with a clean cloth twice, and then Glow. Repeat the EEE and glow if you desire.
