I had an old steady designed for my MC1100 and never quite got around to completing it. Just a little mod and now fits the bowl lathe. Its a little floppy at the moment, but it gets me out of trouble, will stiffen it up later.

I have something like that nearly finished, just needs some welding.

I had the welder out 3 weeks ago & forgot all about it, thanks for the reminder.:2tsup:

.......... Its a little floppy at the moment, but it gets me out of trouble, will stiffen it up later.Cool rig. Will be interested to see how you fix it  The one I inherited from the old man doesn't have enough capacity for my bigger forms and I've been thinking of doing the same sort of thing.
